"I am using Apache Web Server version 2.0.47. Tomcat version 4.1.24 and JDK 1.4.0-b9 on Linux 8.0.
The problem is, while specifying UTF-8 encoding in my JSP header and servlet content type the browser displayes the page in some other encoding "ISO-8859-1".
Pleae have a look.
http://www.ticketport.net/crystal/sample.rpt?init=html
This page displays the wrong Page title .
When i change the encoding usign view--->encoding set UTF-8 . the page displays correctly .
what i believe browser should automatically pick the encoding from the JSP header. i.e UTF-8

value of LANG os variable = en_US.UTF-8
value of OUTPUT_CHARSET= en_US.UTF-8
Any would be highly appreciated.
