hi, can someone tell me how to get gid of a free space in the panel (say when you remove a button there is an empty space left) ?

ps i am running Mandrake 9.0

Right click on an icon and choose "Move", then jam it up against its neighbor. Repeat until the space is gone.

Cheers!It's just i like things to be in a particular order and a messed up panel upsets me :-).

Hi , i have another small question.How do i add something to the systemtray (where klipper and korganizer are located) ?

I don't know, actually. I imagine it's got to be done by programming to the KDE libraries.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
