Hi,
i had been migrating some batch scripts from windows onto shell scritps for unix/linux.

From windows ,to connect to different m/c,had been using the command 'net use' along with parameters.

To use the same with unix/linux,what needs to be done? can any one pls suggest the related command in shell scripting .

Thanks
Raj

1) What's an "m/c"? See here.

2) Windows' "net" command is a hodgepodge of hundreds of options, corresponding to many different commands on a UNIX system, so the answer depends on what you mean exactly by "connect." If you tell us more precisely what you need to do, we can tell you the UNIX commands you need.
