Job description:
Responsibilities:
. Design and develop enterprise applications for Project Portfolio Management market.
. Work with project managers, system architects and other members of the cross functional teams to design solutions for general business requirements
. Produce and maintain technical specifications and design documents.
. Integrate third party systems/software to provide additional services and features, using the latest technologies including server side Java,
JSP,
JDBC,
Servlets, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript.
Qualifications
. Related BS/ MS together with 5+ years overall software industry experience
. 3+ years of experience in building large-scale, high performance scalable enterprise business applications
. 3+ years of Java (JDK 1.3 or higher) programming language
. 3+ years of experience designing enterprise application with J2EE technologies such as Servlets, JSP, EJB and JDBC
. 3+ years experience with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL, SQL
. 3+ years of experience designing 3-tier and n-tier web architectures
. 3+ years experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server database
. 3+ years working knowledge of Unix and (or) Windows NT operating systems, Web browsers (IE/ Netscape), Web servers (Netscape, Apache, IIS)
. 3+ years experience working with a J2EE application server such as BEA Weblogic or IBM WebSphere.
. Experience architecting the integration of 3rd party portal-ware is a strong plus
. Experience with performance tuning J2EE enterprise business application is a strong plus
. Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented paradigms, UML and design
patterns . Strong documentation skills
. Must have experienced all aspects of the software development life-cycle
