Java Application Architect

Ubics Inc is seeking a highly energetic individual to join our software development team as a J2EE Application Architect.Its for a is a dynamic company offering the motivated/experienced candidate an opportunity to be recognized as an innovator within a high profile development team. The selected candidate will also have the ability to advance their career as our business continues to expand. The ideal candidate would possess the following:
�Practical experience in designing and architecting mission critical, transaction based, J2EE enterprise solutions
�The ability to advise on application architecture, design, build and deployment strategies in a J2EE environment
�Experience developing technical strategies to evolve a Websphere based application to insure future objectives
�The ability to integrate J2EE solutions with other various technologies and software
�Experience researching and evaluating new technologies to make recommendations to an executive committee
�Be highly motivated and goal oriented in addressing project needs
�Interact and transfer knowledge as a mentor to other members of the development team.


To be considered for this position, qualified candidates will have
�5 + years of application architecture experience with a minimum of 3 years in the J2EE discipline.
�Detailed knowledge of IBM Websphere 5 and including understanding it�s role in a J2EE implementation.
�Experience researching and recommending new technologies, developing cost to benefit analysis.
�Experience with all phases of the development life cycle including design, development, build and deployment.
�Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team based environment.

This is a Permenant Position in Pittsburgh,PA and would prefer consultants to be either Citizens or have Green/EAD Cards.
