I have posted a query in the jdbc section as well as in the applet some days back. In the applet for some days i have been getting replies and when i have replied another query its not been answered yet and the query in the jdbc section has not been answered a single time
Please take a look at it, if you'll have time
Thank You

There are several points in this that I feel I should reply to.
No one is "entitled" to a reply to any question. Everyone here is an unpaid volunteer, so I feel that phrasing this as a "complaint" is a bit strong. You should be happy that you have been getting replies to your other question for free, not complaining that you aren't getting enough free stuff.
If you really want to get a useful reply to a question, you should think hard about how you phrase the question, what information you include, and which forum you ask the question in. All these factors will influence whether you will get an answer, and the sort of answer you will get. A lot of people here very generously offer there time and knowledge to reply to questions, but there are far to many questions for anyone to answer all of them. The more straightforward, more clearly expressed and more polite a question is, the more likely someone who knows the answer is to understand what is being asked and be willing to spend the time replying. Can you honestly say that your JDBC question is as clear and precise as it possibly can be? Have you included short, tested, relevant, source code where appropriate? Have you included details of all the significant software (with versions) you are using? Is the tone demanding, or is it polite?
Finally, this is a community. To be a success we need everyone to participate. Have you done your share of answering questions as well as asking them? If you have been helpful to other people, your name will be remembered and everyone will be more willing to help you.
Has this helped you understand why you have had no replies to your question?

Great response Frank. It is easy in our age of immediate gratification to get frustrated quickly. The other thing people need to remember is that someone simply may not know the answer to your question, or doesn't feel comfortable responding. Even when they do, understand that they may be wrong.
Jitin, one thing that you can do is revisist your post a few days later and reply to yourself with some more details or maybe what you've tried/found out since you posted. This will serve to bring the message to the top of the board and a lot of people will re-read it which may help you get a response.
Another thing I think that should be said is that if you are relying on the Saloon alone to solve your problems, that is probably an unwise course of action. It certainly is handy and quick, but if you are expecting immediate resolutions to business problems from a free, international, on-line forum then you are setting yourself up for failure.
Good Luck,
Joel

The reason no one answered your question is probably because you had an applet coded in the middle of your question and it was causing browser problems. Get rid of the HTML code to run the applet!!!

HI Frank and Thomas,
I am really very sorry about my mail. Hey guys i had no intentions to hurt you or mean anything wrong. Hey guys i m really very sorry about it. I was feeling very guilty when i received your replies. I am sorry again and Thomas when i saw your second reply i was surprised that inspite of my making such a big mistake you checked my JDBC query. Thanks a lot friend
Thanks A Lot and Sorry Again

Mo-om! You're embarassing me! Can you just read a tiny ad like a normal person?
