Hi all.
since Mac OS X is based on UNIX kernel and since Mac OS X has a shell (AFAIK), can we use Linux commands on Mac OS X ?
like ls and .... ?

Hi John,

It is all there. Bash and Tcsh are just a couple of the shells available. All of the typical commands are there as well. It is a FreeBSD based system at it core, so to speak.
