Is there a version of PostgreSQL on OS X?

When I tried to download the latest version from:

As you can see, there are only a Linux & Win32 versions...

The linux version of the J2EE Reference Implementation 1.3 worked under OS X because it was a zip file... This version of PostgreSQL seems to be in RPM format... Does OS X support RPMs? If not, is there a way to use a tool that will enable OS X to support RPMs?

Also, does MySQL come pre-install with OS X? The main reason I asking this is because I am seeking a good *nix based RDBMS to use in OS X, so I can learn Hibernate.

I downloaded HSQL from: http://hsqldb.sourceforge.net/

Any suggestions?

With thanks!
