I was wondering if Max OS X came with one. I wanted to try my old PHP stuff...

It comes with apache, but you'll have to 'sudo apachectl start' to get it started.

I'm not sure, Mac OS X might come with a stripped down PHP, but if you want any of the interesting modules pre-loaded you'll need to download and/or build PHP. Many people use a pre-compiled package from an entropy.ch site. (If you want PostGreSQL, GD, mcrypt, etc just about anything....)

... or just click the appropriate check button in the Sharing system preferences.
