Sorry I'm a little unfamilliar with Mac. I went to the CLI typed...

From there, I could use vim /etc/httpd/httpd.conf to edit my apache configuration file... However, I don't know where this /etc/httpd/httpd.conf is located in my Macintosh HD. Could you please point me to the correct folder and their hierarchy? Thanks!

On the command line, type "open /etc/httpd", and a Finder window with that directory will be opened.

Check where your apache is installed. Mine installed in /usr/local/apache2 so the conf files are in /usr/local/apache2/conf.
