This week's book giveaway is in the Reactive Progamming forum. We're giving away four copies of Reactive Streams in Java: Concurrency with RxJava, Reactor, and Akka Streams and have Adam Davis on-line! See this thread for details.
Hi, I am running MacOs 10.3.n and I experienced NetBeans to run more stable and reliable than Eclipse. Also the whole setup process to me seemed more intuitive with NetBeans. I never tried X code so I can't judge on that.
My coworkers went to WWDC and were told that Xcode is being deprecated soon and half the dev team at Apple is using Eclipse and the other half is using another app...I believe it is the one mentioned above by the guy who said it was awarded by the San Diego JUG.
I said that IntelliJ IDEA was awarded to me by the SDJUG for presenting, but never that XCode is going to be deprecated. I can't see it being deprecated because it forms the basis for cocoa app development.
You might be referring to someone else posting a comment regarding XCode on my blog?
