I've got 1.5.0_06 - the Sun site is saying that I need 09 to run the new EJBs - I couldn't find anything later than 06 on the Apple site?

Any ideas? Do I really need 09?

Thanks!

I bet they only mention 09 because it's the latest and greatest. I can't imagine that the differences between 06 and 09 (purely bug fixes, some of which the Apple JVM may not even have had in the first place) would prevent EJBs from running.

Thanks Ulf -

That's what i was hoping, so I went ahead and downloaded the EE stuff - so far so good, but I'm just getting started with it.

It is good to hear that the differences between 06 and 09 are so minor!

If this turns out to be an issue, there's a developer preview version of Java 1.6 available that might serve as a workaround.

http://developer.apple.com/java/

(This preview was originally released only for Intel Macs, but I see now that it's for Power PC's as well.)
