Ahh..I finally get the Mac menu bar

Fitts's law

Fitts' Law and Infinite Width

Believe it or not, it took me something like 10 minutes to find the menu bar for Safari when I first booted up my macbook pro!

I have totally gotten used to it now, but never really tried to find out why Mac OS chose to have a single menu bar at top. Reading about Fitts's law today finally cleared up the mystery.
