I think that what you are asking for is something called LiveConnect. You can find information on it here LiveConnect

Hi,
Thanks Carl for response.
I have an applet. Which writes data to server and can get back data from server. Now In my applet, I want to write data what I got from server to particular field of HTML(for example: cell of table in HTML).
How to write data to particular cell from Applet?
Please let me know,
Angela

Carl
I tried LiveConnect, it seems not working with IE. However, I might did something wrong. Does it work with IE? If it does, can you give some very simple sample code?
Thanks in advance!
Roseanne

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
