I m trying to use the String variable defined at tha class level that stores the value fetched form tthe database.suppose 'login'.Now I m comparing this 'login' in Javascript fn,to give the error message in case the 'login' already exists. It is giving error that 'loginname' not defined. Can't I use servlet variable in Javascript fn.Is their any simpler way to achieve this validation? Thanks.
