Hi,
Ok I can pass parameters into an applet, from an HTML page, say the applet performs some black box process, can I pass out changed parameters to the HTML page?
I assume the answer is yes. So my real question is how?

You could accomplish this by setting a public member in your Applet's class and then grabbing that member's value from JavaScript. For the details on accessing an Applet from JavaScript, check out this thread on that subject.
