I've never heard of there being a limit on the number of a certain type of tags that can be included in an HTML page. Why do you ask?

16, just kidding. How may are you planning? Are you thinking of placing a large set of data as dynamic params?

The number of tags that you can put in an HTML document is unlimited. If you wanted to build a document with 10000 <PARAM> tags in it, you could do that, assuming that you named them all properly.

Is this data on the server? If you're generating it on the server couldn't you have a class the applet uses to retrieve the data internally? What type of server side capabilities do you have?
I forget how the values are retrieved, if I recall, it's a hash... I would think your limit would be however many items the collection can hold. As far as HTML goes, I've loaded aprox. 10,000 items into a listbox.
