html simple question.

hi lets say i open a page dynamically though window.open("mypage.html?i = 100")
now i pass a parameter to it i which has value of 100 how do i retrieve this value of i now on client side ? using javascript ? is there a way? or it must be done on the server side ?thanks.

You can pass parameters between windows, but not like this.
Javascript which opens the window:

this.i = 100;
win = window.open('mypage.html');

Javascript in "mypage.html"

var whatever = opener.i;
