Java Developer - Venice, FL

This is a full-time permanent position with a growing company in Venice, Florida. Local candidates strongly preferred. There is no relocation assistance available for this position.

Will be working closely with the DBA on project needs and development. Primary responsibilities include analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of software projects, attain and maintain competence in our business database systems to serve as a second database administrator resource in the absence of our primary administrator. Collaborate with a team of peers, most importantly with the database administrator.


B.S. in a computer field.
3-5 years of professional Java development experience including Swing, XML, servlets, JSP, JDBC, Java2D.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Skills desired: Struts, JavaScript, C++, SAS, MatLab.

I have completed my post-graduation [MCM] from University of Pune. I have also done SCJP 1.4 recently, and I have a Java-struts project experience of 6 months.. are their any opportunities for jr developer/ trainee positions..?
