Contract to hire perm position. This individual will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining and developing IVR applications. Ongoing development support for existing IVR systems is crucial as is the ability to migrate those systems to other technologies as deemed appropriate
Job Description:
Position requires a bachelor�s degree in computer science or related technical field, and a minimum of 4+ years of work experience in designing and developing VXML/IVR and VOS/CTADE enterprise software and system solutions.
Required knowledge and experience is as follows: Extensive experience with VXML IVR Solutions and experience with VOS/CTADE legacy systems. Strong development experience with the following languages: VXML, XSL within Windows and Linux environments are essential for this position as are excellent troubleshooting skills.
Essential Functions
1.Provides leadership in implementing innovative web-based IVR/VXML solutions for existing and emerging systems.
2.Shoulders administrative responsibility of all VXML based platforms. This includes installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
3.Participates in the full life cycle in maintaining VOS/CTADE and VXML IVR based applications
4.Participates in the full life cycle in porting VOS/CTADE clients to VXML IVR solutions.
5.Leads and/or participates in design and code reviews
6.Provides technical direction in catering to customer business requirements
7.Addresses IVR application performance, scalability and extensibility.
8.Provides direction based on emerging technologies
9.Mentors other professionals in the maintenance, porting and delivery of IVR application solutions
10.Participates in the deployment, administration, and support of integrated web and telephony based applications.
11.Troubleshoots and resolves both system and application problems.
Required Skills and Experience
�4+ years experience in IVR design and development
�Experience with ASR such as Voice Genie, Intervoice
�Experience with Nuance/and VOS/CTADE
�Experience with VOS/CTADE development
�Knowledge of Linux and Win 2000 is a must.
