You'll have to be a little clearer on what you mean by line width and height, and in what context.

Hello Friends,
Thanks for u'r replies.But it didn't work well.Let me tell what i need clearly.
This is how i set text for JTextPane.
jTextPane1.setText("<html><head></head><body style='line-height:30em'>This is first line.<br>This is second line.<br>This is thrid line.</body></html>");
But this dosen't reflect any changes.But the content reflects very nicely in IE.What should be done to make it reflect the line spacing between two lines in this code.
Pl.. help me out as soon as possible.
Excepting u'r replies,
Sonara.

a JTextPane doesnt understand html tags. i dont understand what you are trying to do? it looks like you want an html textarea not a java JTextPane. is this part of an applet?
