Othe problems with JavaScript in Netscape

HI,
I have weird problems with the JavaScript i Netscape Navigator.
The problem: With very simple function I am trying to read the parameters from the Formular in the web page and these parametes to call another function in the right standing frame. Everythins works perfect in IE, but Netscape, Mozilla and Opera, I get the following JavaScript Error: Attempted to read protected variable (when the function tries to read the parameters from the Formular). PLAESE HELP!!!
What I have to mention is that the web page is genarated from a Java Servlet, running on Tomcat Server.
