Salary
Negotiable – �40000 - �50000

Job role:
You will be involved with the design and development of new features to the Silk Server. You would also be liaising with customers with regards to deployment of the Silk Server and helping to integrate the Silk Solution with their existing infrastructure.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You should have degree level or equivalent qualifications with at least 2-3 years work experience.

You will need to be proficient in the following technologies:

Analysis and Design Technologies
�Process: Unified Modeling Language and Unified Process
�Tools: MS-VISIO / Rational Rose

Server Side - Enterprise Development Technologies
�J2EE: EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Java Beans, MVC Design Struts, JSF
�Application and Web Servers: WebLogic 7.0 and above, Apache, IPlanet

Wireless - Technologies
�J2ME: MIDP, CLDC

Middle Ware & Configuration Technologies
�XML, JAXM, JAXP, JAXR, JAXB, JDOM, SOAP

Front End Technologies
�HTML, XHTML, Java Script, DreamWeaver/GoLive or similar web editors.

Client/Server Programming Technologies
�Java 2 - Swing, RMI, Java Beans, Eclipse or some IDE which is J2EE compliant

Database Technologies
�Oracle 8/9 and above PL/SQL, MS-Access, MySQL

Testing Frameworks /Deployment Technologies
�JUnit, JTest, DbUnit
�Ant, PVCS Version Manager, PVCS Tracker, Team ware

Platforms and Operating Systems
�Solaris, Linux, Windows 9x, Windows NT, Win 2K, MS-DOS

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and good organisational skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and achieve tight deadlines. You will need to be comfortable working independently or with others and be a team player.
