how do i display tiff images ? I tried img, embed, and object tags but none of them seem to work. I use IE5.

Why are you using TIFF's in the first place? TIFF's are not webpage friendly and seem to neverwork on most browsers since it depends on the person's computer and the server you are running off of if I rememeber correctly. Look at the following link for more info.

browsers (at least most of them) don't know how to display TIFF and will hand you a download link instead (or a large cross or whatever to indicate failure to render).

thanx for the replies. you are right that i should not use tiff images, instead i converted my tiff to jpg. guess this is the best solution.
