Hi there,
javascript:window.close() can work with all versions of IE and NN except Netscape 7.1. It is very strange that Netscape 7.0 supports javascript:window.close() while Netscape 7.1 does not support javascript:window.close(). Anyone have faced this problem and any idea to fix this problem?
Thanks,
Adam

This window that you are trying to close...was it opened up with JavaScript?

Hi,
Here is a simple example:
You can use with href oronClick in your html pages
They work with NN7.0, but do not work with NN7.1.
If the window is opened by javasccript, the window will close without warning. Otherwise the window will close with warning.
Thanks,
Adam

Netscape 7.1 has code that will not allow you to close the window without it being open with JavaScript.

Hi Eric,
You are right.
Netscape 7.1 works in this way intentionally.
Thanks a lot!
