Java/J2EE Developer (US Citizens Only) Due to nature of projects Job Summary: As a member of a project team responsible for designing, coding, unit/integration testing web services applications using Java, XML, or SQL. Understanding of system development lifecycle processes and rapid development cycles with the ability to independently code, test and implement solutions based on user requirements and as directed by project leadership. Exceptional user facing skills and client relationship skills. Major Responsibilities/Activities: Review, analyze, design, develop, and implement web services applications. Lead User Design sessions and manage the design process Design, develop and maintain system databases Assist team members Skills: Critical Thinking, Organization, Detail oriented, Self-motivated, Analytic mind-set, ability to work as part of a team as well as alone, excellent Communication skills Required Experience/Technologies: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other physical science 4+ years of professional Java development experience with at least 1 years using J2EE J2EE, XML, SQL, hands-on experience with some database development (JDBC) MQ Series Either Jakarta Struts (Front Controller with JSP's) or Enterprise Java Beans (EJB2.0) Experience with at least two of the following technologies: SOAP, SAX/DOM, JMS, XML Schema or DTD, Stateless Session Beans 1 years UML design modeling experience, RUP, UML
Desired Experience/Technologies: Knowledge of design patterns for J2EE or EJB Knowledge of Exception handling frameworks Ability to understand Entity Relational diagrams Sun / Oracle certification preferred Programs Used: Websphere, Microsoft Office Product Suite , Rational Design Suite
