I am using javascript:history.back() to direct JSPs back and forth. Someone gets the warning when visiting the page:

Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you. To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button.

I never had the error in my machine though. Is it something web browser dependent? Or what could possibly cause it? Something to do with the Javascript method?

If data was submitted to the page and the page was not cached then that warning will come up. It is to keep a person from submitting the information twice to lets say a credit card company.

I did search upon the topic to find it is a known problem when trying to back to a page contains a form with POST method associated. However I didn't find any definite solution on it. Do you have any idea how to address that? Is there any code change required? - Thanks
