i have a jsp page which contains a textbox and a button. when i press on the
button i must me show a popup window into the same page. the popup window
populate a combo box and its contains a values and select one value, it shoud be
displays on the textbox. how?

You can open a window with the window.open() method;


from the child window, you can talk to the parent
window.opener.document.FormName.ElementName.value = "blah";

That is the basic idea....
