I am planning to create a web site for bookstore.
Would you please give me some suggestion which language is better.
For the client side, Javascript? for the server side, CGI or php, can I use Javaserver Page? what is the difference? What kind of database should I use, MySQL or others?
Which combination choice is better for web hosting?

Any kinds of suggestions are very welcome. Thanks in advance.

Look whatthe host that you are going to put th Web site offers. Sounds like you do not know anything about programming so your best bet is to look for store code front code available online. You are going to have to pay a bit of money, but it will be easier and cheaper in the long run. You will not have to worry about security issues as much with one that has been developed.

I again say look at the price of hosts. See what they offer. Look at prebuilt solutions and find what fits your needs.
