Senior Applications Developer

Description
The primary responsibility for the position is to lead design and development of enhancements to existing production applications as well as building new applications.

Candidates must be a self-starter, customer-focused, detail oriented, well spoken, eager to learn different technologies, comfortable working on highly technical teams, and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop enhancements of existing applications
  • Building new applications � proof of concept, design and development
  • Design and develop highly reliable, available, and performance applications
  • Lead project and mentor junior developers


  • Requirements
    • 5-8 years experience in VB 6.0, ASP, VB.NET, and ASP.NET
    • Must have recent experience with multi-threading
    • 4 years experience building enterprise level applications using Visual Studio.NET
    • Strong XML, XSD, XSLT
    • Experience using third-party custom controls
    • STRONG SQL skills (SQL Server 2000 in conjunction with ADO and ADO.NET needed) including SP, UDF
    • Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance and supervision
    • Must be able to find solutions and present them to senior staff members
    • Must have full life cycle application development experience
    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field of study
    • Experience with Crystal Reports and SQL Reporting services is desirable
    • Experience with application server, preferably JBoss and J2EE/JSP Frameworks is desirable
    • BPEL, SOA, workflow engine, and ESB familiarity is desirable


    • In addition to the above skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal skills.
