Viatech is recruiting for a Lead
Java Developer to lead a team of developers (5-7) responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and supporting various
J2EE based, business process automation applications of enterprise scale. Will provide technical specifications to team members on the project. Will work directly with the development team to provide overall direction and ensure that deliverables are produced within schedule under tight timeframes. Will review developer code for accuracy to specification, conformance with standards and performance. Will ensure the team follows established software development policies. Will oversee ongoing support for application stability and performance. Will ensure the timely resolution of any performance related issues. The candidate must be a team player capable of interacting with the Project Manager, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and Database teams to understand requirements and verify that a quality product is produced. This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to mentor others.
Requirements
Bachelors degree with 5-7 years server based application development experience utilizing Java. A minimum of 2 years experience as a team lead practicing system analysis and design. Must have experience in Java, J2EE, EJB,
Struts,
JSP, JSTL (desired) and Weblogic (or similar). Full development lifecycle experience is required. Must possess strong organizational skills and good interpersonal skills. Relevant experience should include designing and implementing front-end, mid-tier, and back end modules.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN. Will be required to obtain a security clearance upon hire.
