I am having a hard time having to open a popup window for selecting a color, from a struts html:link tag. Here's how I'm doing it.

<html:link href="#" target="_blank" nclick="javascript:SelectColor('myColor=sectionColor'); return false">Click</html:link>

What I want is a situation whereby the user can click, the window pops up, and can select a vlaue which is then transeferred back to the user text field. Any help pls ?

Thanks.

Kunle,

You might get a better response if you post your question at a Javascript forum.

All the best.

Adekunle,
I assume nclick is really onclick.

You may want to ctry replacing the call to SelectColor with a simple alert. That will rule out it being a struts problem.

Also can you post the SelectColor method? It looks unusual passing a name/value pair, but this could be what the method is expecting.
