Exciting Hedge Fund opportunity! Seeking a Java developer to support and extend a proprietary, state of the art trading system. The fund trades strategies involving credit, fixed income, equities and capital structure arbitrage.

The candidate should have a demonstrated proficiency in Java, SQL, and Swing. Additional technologies used in house are Spring, Hibernate, and Velocity. Plusses but not required are experience interfacing Java and C++, and a working knowledge of financial markets.

Candidates must be motivated and able to demonstrate success within their career to date. Ideal candidate is a self starter able to work on his/her own but is also able to work well in a team. We will consider well qualified entry level candidates with a background in software development.

This is an opportunity to work with extremely talented individuals in an entrepreneurial environment
