Google Search Appliance Developer - Santa Monica

Positions available in Santa Monica, CA.

We are looking for developers to join our world-class engineering team to
design and develop our enterprise product: the Google Search Appliance (GSA).
If you love the power of Google search and want to bring it into the corporate
intranets, then join the Google Enterprise team.

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of development experience in either C++ or Java is a must, both are preferred.
  • Significant development experience in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Experience developing/designing large software systems.
  • Python, Perl, Java and Javascript a plus.
  • Experience working through software development lifecycles.
  • A software developer with a "quality eye" is ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with application server, portal, document management, content management, and knowledge management technologies.
