Does anyone know if the <input type="text"> has a limit? a maximum number os chars? if not, what about I submit this <input type="text"> using a GET or POST, what's the limit supported, if there is any?

Link is a little old, but it shows you some limits of the address bar
http://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/limits.html
That means if you are using a query
string
then there is a limit.
