Hi,

When I added this numeric reference for the symbol Rupee to a webpage:

Microsoft IE displays the character as a small rectangle box. But it
works fine in Firefox. How can I correct this for IE ?

Thanks

Pho

Rupee (Currency of India) has been added to the Unicode 6 version, which was released on October 11, 2010.
Ubuntu 10.10 was the first operating system to include this version of Unicode.

The symbol will be visible only if your computer has the updated version of Unicode Installed.

Till then, you may consider using a image version of it:
