We're looking for top notch J2EE talent with 4+ years of Java/J2EE development. These are excellent, high visibility opportunities for agile software developers - you will be called on to deliver well designed, tested code in short iterations and continuously refactor to support maintainable software at a sustainable pace. You will work within team and closely with other teams to design and develop working, tested software primarily in the areas of configuration, administration and cluster management of the core runtime J2EE engine.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Technologies:
*J2EE, EJB, JMS, JMX, JSP, Servlet, RMI
*Ant, JUnit, test driven development
*XML, JAXB, SOAP, UML, OOA/OOD
*JBoss-Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, Apache

Preferred Skills:
*BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
*4+ years of software engineering or related experience.
*Familiarity with the Java Community Process and in-depth knowledge of Java Specification Requests (JSRs) *Demonstrated facility with design patterns *Demonstrated experience with test driven development (TDD) *Excellent technical skills with previous experience in J2EE development or implementations.
*Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and/or Extreme Programming.
*The ability to decompose problems into incremental, deliverable solutions is essential. *Excellent written and oral communication skills; you will be working closely with many other developers both inside and outside your development group *Nice to have knowledge of other application servers (JBoss, Geronimo, WebSphere, WebLogic, SAP, Sun Application Server)
