Title: Quality Assurance Lead
We are looking for Lead QA engineer to join our QA team. The candidate will lead QA engineers on multiple projects and Product Releases and would be responsible for all aspects (project schedule, Monitoring and reporting, Technical success, mentoring and training).

The position will require the person to be able to contribute in product lines that may vastly differ from each other. These spaces may range from �On-Demand Web Apps� for various enterprise activities to end point security and/or mobility applications.

This would be an important role for the success of our India QA Operations and we expect the candidate to be a self-motivated, quick learning individual with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Role
Responsible for the overall quality of the product and leading the QA team by ensuring test cases and procedures are developed and implemented from project/release requirements.

Description
�Develop, enhance, and maintain test plans/test scripts to verify software functionality as designed.
�Create software configuration guides as well as training documentation and presentations.
�Complete ownership of test projects; includes insuring quality completion of multiple tasks within a rapidly changing environment.
�Contribute ideas toward the enhancement and/or modification of designs to improve the product.
�Contribute constructively in pre-development work to discuss and decide release priorities.
�Suggest and evaluate new tools for QA.
�Participate in defining test objectives, strategies, and standards.
�Create project plan and drive all aspects of project releases. Contribute to the entire Development process and the role of QA in it, including participation in design and prototype activities.
�Contribute to overall testing efforts including Requirements analysis, Performance metrics, Continuous improvement projects.
�Ensuring that all benchmarks are being met and communicated accurately to the engineering team.
�Actively participate in hiring activities.
�Ability to work with distributed Development, QA and Product Management teams.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills useful for us
�Experience with testing web applications (specially for product companies)
Mid to Strong database skills highly desirable
Mid to Strong UNIX skills highly desirable
�Experience with testing or working with software products in the security space � e.g.
Anti-virus; VPN; time-bomb; Patch Management; Device Hardening etc
�Pluses
Experience of customer facing assignments in a domain expert role
Experience with Automation Testing a plus
Experience with Performance Testing
Technical Experience with any of the following: Wi-Fi, CDMA/GSM, Network technologies

Requirements:
�B.E/B.Tech/MBA/MCA or related technical discipline is preferred.
�Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
�Excellent oral and written communication skills.
�Ability to work well independently while being flexible and adaptable to rapid change.
�Ability to set priorities, accommodate requirement changes and resource changes
