Java Web Application Developer (P390875)

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the Glazers Family of Companies is a highly respected alcohol beverage sales and distribution company boasting a proud tradition of excellence. Dating back to the early 1900s, Glazers began in the distribution business when Bessie and Louis Glazer relocated to Texas and started the Jumbo Bottling Company, which produced and distributed flavored soda waters. Since 1909, the Company has grown and focused on becoming one of the industrys finest and most respected wholesale distributors. Through the formation of many strong and lasting partnerships with suppliers and by attracting and retaining highly capable employees, Glazers has an enviable formula for success. Its presence in fine wine, spirits and malts is unparalleled in this region and ranks the Company among the countrys largest distributors.

Glazers has enjoyed outstanding growth over recent years, more than doubling revenues since the mid 1990s. This growth has been achieved by seizing numerous market opportunities, generating new supplier relationships, creating strategic partnerships and an on-going commitment to acquire competitors (wholesalers and distributors) in promising marketplaces. Glazers operational footprint now spreads across the Southwest and Midwest, encompassing the following twelve (12) states: TX, LA, MO, IA, OH, IL, IN, AZ, OK, MS, AR, KS.

Privately owned by the Glazer family, the Corporation (a C corporation) generated $2.8 billion in revenue in 2005 and employs more that 6,000 employees throughout a twelve (12) state area. Glazers is very profitable and the prospects for continued growth and strong financial performance/returns remain very high.
