I am using overflow:auto inside my div tag which gives the text window a scroll bar when the text area needs it. What I want to add to the system is the ability to have the HEIGHT of the window shrink and grow according to the size of the browser window. Any clue in how to do this??

Use CSS sizing rules that specify percentages for metrics.
