hi all

I am having homepage with two frames.(left & right frame)

Whenever a homepage is closed, i want to sent a event to server to do some stuff there.

So i used body tags onunload function to notify a event to server(where javascript method makes a call to server) thru the left frame page.

Its is working fine in Mozilla, but not working in IE

PLz,anybody help how to solve this

do you know that the onunload is fired for every page event from a refresh, to clicking on a link, to closing the browser, to navigating away. Now you may be causing your user's to log out when they were not leaving the page.

Let your server handle the clean up on session end. You can not rely on the browser's event handlers. Plus what if JavaScript is disabled?
