Innovar Group has an immediate need for two Senior Java/J2EE Developers for a valued client in the Denver Tech Center. This is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of extending or converting to a permanent full-time employee.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Performs any of the following in creating a custom software application (vs. �packaged� application) that automates an internal or customer-facing business capability, such as Order Management, Developer Support, Customer Support, License Management:
� Analyzing business requirements in the framework of a custom built solution
� Designing custom code/application that meets business requirements
� Developing and integrating custom code/application that meets business requirements
�
Unit, System and Integration testing of code/application
� Debugging and modifying a custom software application as business requirements and needs dictate
Work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Is highly knowledgeable and a well known resource on Industry Best Practices and trends. Has taken a leadership role on a project by managing the tasks, responsibilities and deliverables of a team of developers through the full project lifecycle. Has significant hands-on experience with the WebLogic Product suite. Has professional experience with all features of the
J2EE standard (EJBs,
Servlets, JSPs, XML). Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Requires a BS degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc) or equivalent experience.
