Position Overview
Based in downtown Chicago, we are a cutting edge technology company building applications for the financial services (insurance, mortgage, etc.) and real estate markets. Our applications are all hosted and provided entirely over the Web. We are looking to hire Java Developers of all experience levels, willing to work hard, have fun, and grow with our company.

The Ideal Candidate
Our developers are highly motivated and able to work on a team or teams tasked with building several mission critical business applications. For this position, we are looking for a candidate that is comfortable working directly with business users and the executive team to translate business requirements and turn them into a completed product.

Key Requirements

oJava development skills with real world Java, JSP, JDBC development experience (not coursework)
oExperience installing and configuring a Java application server such as Tomcat, Resin, JRun, Websphere, WebLogic, etc.
oRelational database experience (MySQL preferred)
oExperience with CVS or similar version management system, as well as knowledge of coding practices (HEAD, branches, etc.)
oKnowledge of modern IDEs (Eclipse, JBuilder, etc.)
oExperience with Linux/Unix
oExperience with common open source frameworks (Struts, Apache, Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
oAbility to work in a team and potentially manage/mentor others
oSelf Management Ability
oLooking for very smart, dedicated employees who have excellent problem solving skills

Hi,

I have around 3 years of IT exp in Java/J2EE ES-FrameWork(Similar to Struts) working in Finance Domain with HSBC. I have SCJP1.4(72%) AND SCWCD1.4(86%) certifications. I had worked in Sheffield,UK for 4 months as onsite Developer.Currently Working in India,Pune.I Hold a valid h1-b Visa.Please let me know If candidates who hold H1B visa can apply for this job?
