Great client in Atlanta, GA. Relo on a per case basis.

� The successful candidate will be an implementor. Must be able to bring NEW and FRESH ideas to the company. Capable of working independently, as well as with a team, in supporting this Java/XML-based J2EE application in JBoss.
� Design and implement new functions.
� Evaluate and improve performance using Optimizeit.
� Work with business analysts in understanding new requirements.
� Follow company software development processes and standards.
� Study new technology and remain technically current.

� Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
� Experience with Linux and Solaris.
� 8 + years experience in the IT industry working in the area of product and/or application development.
� 5 + years experience as a Senior Java/J2EE developer, preferably on one or more large, highly transactional systems deployed and used in production.
� Strong knowledge in each of the following: JBOSS, JMS, JSP, Struts, XML, XSLT, JDBC and Ant.
� Good knowledge on messaging middleware such as JMS, Tibco RV.
� Experience with Open-Source Technologies is a plus, e.g.: Hibernate, Jakarta Commons, Spring Framework, HiveMind, JUnit, Eclipse, JMX and experience with JMX management/monitoring tools
� Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, and deliver production quality messaging software within tight schedules.
� Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
� Experience with trading floors/traders/exchanges/commodities a plus.
