Hi all, I have a HTML page with a link to a file that is located on the server. This file has a .p12 extension. So, this is unknown file type.

When I try to download the file by clicking on the link, in internet explorer the is file is donwloaded as a text file (displayed as text in the browser).

I firefox, the file can be downloaded with no problem.

Is it possible to change the content type so that the file can be downloaded in internet explorer? I have tried setting the type attribute to "application/octet-stream", but that didn't work.

Any thoughts?
