Trying to disable a link to another page with: <... href="?" disabled>. The link will grey-out, but the it still works. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Eric! I did search, but the example is Javascript oriented and I am not that well versed in it. Didn't know if that pertained to me or not. Sorry for the inconvenience, but "the basic" example is what I was looking for.

Pointing out the search on my part was just saying you could have foind a solution faster than waiting on me.

I always thought it was funny that putting disable on a link did not disable it. I never looked at the standards to see if it is actually a valid attribute or not.
