Job Description:
Haley Systems is seeking multiple Senior Software Development Engineers with systems programming skills to participate in the development of Business Rule Management System that uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing in MS Windows and UNIX environments.
The positions are based at the company headquarters in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
Representative Principal Duties and Responsibilities
�Design, code and maintain application interfaces, libraries and other facilities
�Installation and configuration of systems applications / app servers.
�Perform peer reviews
�Write and review Design Documents
�Work with Technical Writers to create user manuals
�Review
test plans with QA group
Qualifications
�BS (Computer Science) plus 5 years of relevant industry experience. MS (Computer Science) or Ph.D. (Computer Science) preferred.
�Solid experience in OOP and best coding practices
�High Proficiency in
Java �Understanding and experience with
J2EE terms and concepts
�Understanding / familiarity with .NET languages a plus
�Experience with n-tier architecture, SOA and Databases would be an added plus
�Proven track record of implementing user-centered designs
�Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
�Understanding of a variety of Application Servers (WebSphere,
JBoss, WebLogic) a plus
