CSS2: page, print media , break table horizontally?

I am wondering if the CSS2's page, print media has some functions to break a huge columns into small one so that it could be printed nicely ?

I have searched Google, I find CSS2 only has page-break, but it is only used for breaking a table vertically, not what I want, horizontally.
