Job Description
auctionPAL is seeking a system administrator and release engineer to manage their online product launch. We need your help because auctionPAL will be moving fast with daily staging builds and weekly product releases. Your friends and family could be using this service starting this summer.
Technology
auctionPAL technology includes
java middleware, ofBiz open source ERP, mail and Web servers, Rails front-end applications, databases, etc. You help us build the staging and production servers,
test the application for deployment, run builds, build test harnesses, and make the system work.
Requirements
You should be able to operate most of the following technologies:
* Linux servers
* Server security
* Some windows
* Java application servers
* MySQL and SQL scripting
* Automated test scripts
* You can write automation scripts with perl, ruby, or similar scripting language
* Agile and iterative development processes.
