We are currently seeking a Java Developer for a contract right-to-hire position in Morrisville, NC. We are searching for local candidates who can go perm with the client after the contract timeframe.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position is accountable for all implementation and delivery of e-Business application development tasks. The position is involved in every phase of the software development lifecycle. The candidate must have experience with successful development projects and bring some consulting experience to the team.

- Ability to define and give perspective on creative, technical and user experience implementation for various types of projects such as portals, e-commerce, marketing, and B2B sites.
- Responsible for technical quality control, setting and maintaining quality benchmarks.
- Ability to excel at communicating with customers, teammates, and other internal organizations.
- Ability to analyze and quickly learn an existing system in order to make modifications or enhancements.

Education & Experience

- 4 year degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related programming experience
- Java, JSP, servlets (2+ years of experience)
- Experience with at least one web framework such as JSF, Struts, Tapestry, Spring, Webwork, etc
- Experience with at least one persistence framework such as Hibernate, ibatis, EJB, etc
- JUnit and test driven development experience
- SQL (Oracle orMS SQL)
- Excellent communication skills
